Flower parade Ebbs

A special highlight of the year is the legendary flower parade in Ebbs every year in August!
More than 50 participants are taking part in Austria’s largest flower parade in the heart of the Haflinger horse village Ebbs. The procession of colourfully decorated wagons, music bands, horse carriages and oldtimers lets you experience „flowery“ moments. A VIP jury judges the wagons and the participants will be presented and introduced on five different locations.
Thursday, 23rd August 2012
- 10.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m. - Flower alpine day
Lots of handcraft, music, entertainment programme, flower sticking and culinary delicacies.
Friday, 24th August 2012
- From 6.00 p.m. - Country festival in the village center Ebbs
Nice music and dance awaits the visitors of the country festival in the village center of Ebbs.
- 19.00 p.m. - Flower parade open air concert - Nockalm Quintett
at the flower world Hödnerhof in Ebbs
Saturday, 25th Augus 2012 - day of festival
- From 9.00 a.m. - Flower sticking party at the flower world Hödnerhof Ebbs
In the middle of thousands of flowers you can take a look how the floats are decorated for the big parade on sunday, or even better: try it yourself!
- 9.30 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. - Flower brunch in the city park Kufstein
With music and culinary delicacies you can have a look at the busy workers making the floats for the flower parade, have a brunch and enjoy a nice forenoon.
- From 6.00 p.m. - Summernight festival of flowers in the village center Ebbs
The night before the big flower parade the traditional summernight festival takes place. From 6.00 p.m. the village center changes into a fairground with music, culinary delicacies and lots of bars, for a great atmosphere on a great summer evening.
Sunday, 26th August 2012 - great festive day with parade
- 9 a.m.: Farmers' & craftsman market at the Hödnerhof
- 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.: Festival in the village center
- 10 a.m.: Exhibition of the floats at the Hödnerhof
- 11 a.m.: Open air concert of the marching band Ebbs in the beer hall and morning pint with live music
- 12o'clock - 3 p.m.: Radio U1 morning pint at the Hödnerhof with live music
- 1 p.m.: Garden party with live music at the guesthouse Sattlerwirt
- 1.30 p.m.: Pageant with all floats, horse riding groups, marching bands and vintage cars
- 3 p.m.: Open air concert of the marching band Schwoich
- 3 p.m.: Arrival of the parade at the Hödnerhof and concert of the marching band
- 4 p.m.: Award ceremony of all participants at the Hödnerhof
